QNC High Frequency add on for No Noise QNC  

The QNC HF filter is designed to work in the NN QNC and filters out much higher frequency noise such as RFI. RFI noise operates in the 100kHz to 2.4GHz band which may interfere with Audio equipment, TV’s, computers and other electrical equipment. On top of this we have installed our QPG technology to aid the filter in its performance

  • Start stop timing of instruments are improved
  • Designed to work in conjunction with our other range of filters

  • 2.4Ghz , 1Ghz , 500Mhz , 1Mhz & 100Khz operating region

RFI Noise Reduction

Reducing RFI (Radio-frequency Interference) noise using filtering technologies presents significant design challenges. Since high frequency energy can “jump” around components and travel along leads, audio equipment and televisions suffer as this energy reached the delicate circuits.
Correct Filter Application

An RFI filter will be most effective when installed correctly. Although the filter reduces noise on the power lines (conducted emissions), it should be located as close as practical to the audio / tv equipment to reduce broadcasting of the noise (radiated emissions) from the power lines themselves. Noise is shorted to ground through a resistor-capacitor network.

Installation Note -
Simply plug in the 4 pin plug to the matching 4 pin socket on the NN QNC pcb.

Always power down the NN QNC before installation

NN QNC plug ins (check first with Fidelity Audio) Verified Purchase

Just to add to my other review of the NN QNC (plug in filters) check with either FA first or check inside the mains filter (if you all ready own) to see that you have the plug in filter board so that you can do this upgrade. I believe this is a fairly new modification to the filter board and some older models may not have it fitted.

NO NOISE QNC PLUG IN OPTIONS Verified Purchase

It's great that Fidelity Audio give you the choice (options) to enhance the NN QNC mains filter with either up to 3 high frequency plug ins and/or 1 spike clamp protection plug in and up to two HF plug ins. I've taken the opportunity to enhance the performance of the NN QNC with 3 HF plug ins. All very easy to do, just lift the top cover from underneath the base, locate the plug in sockets and apply. Three just about fit ok, double sided sticky pads are provided , just make sure you locate precisely, as once stuck down they are very difficult to lift off again. I suggest if you don't have one of FAs spike clamps fitted to another one of their mains filters then do so here, and then either fit 1 or 2 of the HF plug ins also. In conjunction with their QNC circuitry the HF plug ins just help to enhance the beautifuly natural sound one hears from the elimination/reduction in HF/ EMI interference. This is a cost effective way to enhance this fabulous mains filter even more. Highly recommend.
