Moving our filters into a new field of technology we have developed the Quantum Noise Conditioner. Based on the No Noise X this filter incorporates our Quantum Pulse Generator circuit and QNC DF filter. We feed a very low noise linear dc voltage to the QPG circuit using a version of our SPower Reference regulation. There will also be the option to upgrade the filter with add on options in the future.

What is a Quantum Pulse Generator?

QPG technology protects against EMI energy providing broadband protection against sound interference from high-frequency interference fields. This is achieved by outputting a very low frequency (<10Hz) into the chassis and across the electronics. These low frequency waves cancel out high frequency noise / pulses that bombard the electronics leaving the electronic components to work in a quieter and more stable environment. The technology improves the performance of capacitors in particular and helps lower the noise floor on the ground plane.

The effect? Increased naturalness and three-dimensionality of the sound stage as well as significantly improved depth and focus of the instruments.

Mains Filtering

Mains contamination includes mains noise, spikes / surges and airborne noise such as Wi-Fi interference. We use our classic No Noise X common mode Live Neutral filtering for reducing the mains noise and the QPG optimises the performance

NN QNC

Having recently purchased Fidelity Audio's brilliant NN SA QNC mains filter, ( now fully run in) which was two steps up in sound quality from an 18 year old mains filter I was using, plugged in at the same location, I was excited to also complement this with the NN QNC filter, (also now run in) a slightly different version to the ' SA' filter plugged in closer to the system. Again this was to replace another 18 year old filter. Weather it's because all of my components (Sacd players, pre power amps) have been modified and also fitted with various internal filters, in addition to all of the equipment being chassis earth grounded, I have now found in MY system that I may well have reached the limit of what can be achieved with this kind of mains filtering. The NN QNC like the SA version is fabulously built, good looking, and with the benefit of having a power switch at the back. I love the little power light on the front too! Highly recommend if your system has very little or no mains filtering at all.

No Noise QNC

Having recently dipped my toes into the mad world of mains cables (with good results). I decided to look into filtering the mains and came across Fidelity Audio where I spoke to Brent for advice. I took the plunge and went for the No Noise QNC, I could not be more happy. I left it to burn in for 600 hours as Brent advised before making any final decision on the filter but right from the off it improved the audio in pretty much all areas. Now the filter has burnt in I can't stop listening to my favorite cds.

I recommend anyone to try a Fidelity Audio filter.
